Please note:

Bring gloves, (secateurs and a garden fork if you have them), and a notebook can be handy too. Camera's welcome. Also, bring along all those questions and suggestions you may have about the art of composting!

Wear sturdy, closed in footwear, and be prepared for any weather - we will go ahead whatever the forecast – as we know in Dunedin the forecasts are not always accurate!

If the weather isn’t great, take heart that we can adapt the day to work mostly indoors in the warm, and find the ‘gap’ in the weather to build our wonderful compost heap in the garden!

Also, a request – if you have any food scraps to spare please bring them for the heap, but NO MEAT, ONION, BREAD thanks!

Please come into the house, as we will begin the workshop indoors.

Directions: From Highway 88/Dunedin-Port Chalmers Road, turn onto Station Road.Straight through the roundabout to follow Hall Road up the valley. Right on Tewsley Street.Left up gravel road, then right up concrete driveway. If you have good mobility, please PARK ON TEWSLEY OR FAIRVIEW and walk up, as there is limited parking up the gravel road & driveway.

If, however, walking up a steep drive is difficult for you, please drive up and park by the house as described: follow the private gravel road part of Fairview up the hill. Pass the lower house with the palms. Go up the concrete driveway to the right and walk up the stairs next to the garage.
