Belconnen Demonstration Verge Veggie Garden Network Project Stage 2 COMPOSTING
After the installation of 5 Verge Vegie Gardens in Belconnen in February this year we are running our next workshop.
This workshop will be all about composting, hosted by Fiona Veikkanen from The Canberra Environment Centre.
This workshop is open to the volunteers from our 5 Demonstration Verge Gardens and for anyone interested in composting.
Composting is a great way to reduce waste and methane emissions and is great to build healthy soils and plants.
Fiona Buining from Ainslie Urban Farm will also be there to answer any questions about Verge Veggie Gardens.
This project has been developed by SEE Change with assistance from the ACT Government under the ACT Community Garden Grants Program.
