Did you know that home composting is a great way to save money and the planet at the same time? Join us for a hands-on compost workshop and learn everything you need to start composting with confidence! We'll help you choose the right compost system for your household, then walk through what you can (and can't) compost — from food scraps to garden waste. It'll be a small, informal group with plenty of time to ask questions and learn something new.

After the session, we'll be on hand to offer troubleshooting and support to make sure your composting journey is a success. You can also volunteer to be one of our "Composting Champions" if you wish to! Champions will record the food and garden waste they compost over a month, to see how the system is working. We'll follow up with you after a couple of months to get your feedback and see how you're tracking.

Aunty's Garden is a beautiful community garden so the ground is a little uneven but there is access for wheelchairs. Bring along your camp chair or stool for comfort and dress for the weather as we will be outdoors!
