    Composting Workshop

    Are you sick of food waste going into landfill? Feed it to your soil instead.

    Join us to learn how to create awesome compost and help the environment in the process.

    Members from Canberra City Farm will be covering the following:

    - The basics of composting, what can go in and knowing the difference between green and brown material;
    - Different composting systems and bins;
    - Worms, animals, manure and other supplements;
    - Water and weather protection. 

    At the end of this session, you will have the knowledge to make useable compost for your plants from garden and food waste.

    The workshop will run for about an hour, include opportunities to ask questions and provide some take home information and home-made paper seed bombs.

    The Workshop commences at 1.30pm.

    At the end of the Workshop you will have learnt what to compost, understanding how to compost, ways to compost, and how to keep your compost healthy and productive.
