Composting Workshop - September Sustainable Living Month
Event description
A hands-on, soil-loving afternoon exploring the principles of composting and discovering different methods you can use at home. We’ll take you on a tour of the composting systems here at the SLC, including our on-site worm farm, three-bin system, council bins, bokashi buckets, and the community compost.
You’ll learn how each method works, the pros and cons, and tips for getting the best results.
Whether you’re new to composting or looking to expand your skills, this session will give you the know-how and inspiration to turn food scraps into garden gold.

🪱Contribution: FREE (though koha for supporting the SLCs continued mahi is always happily accepted!)
