Compton Gardens Donation

A charity walk to raise funds through Dorcas ACTS for those in crisis is being held at Uluru, Northern Territory on 5th October 2026.

The walk is being led by Everald and Helen Compton. Several local walks around Australia are taking place in conjunction with Everald’s Walk, and a local walk of 1km around Compton Gardens is being held on that morning Monday 5th October.

We will assemble at 8.45am in front of the Administration Building before setting off at 9am. After the walk is finished, we will enjoy a morning tea and chat to celebrate our achievements. Neill Florence and Rosemary Peters are leading a team of walkers and are looking for participants and sponsorship.

Payment for the costs can be given to Rosemary to do the registrations for  you – we will need your name, contact number and your personal fundraising target.

The costs are:

Registration

·         Special Walker Registration Fee: $30 (mandatory, to cover expenses)

·         WITS Cap: $30 (optional but strongly recommended, to help us build the brand)

Donation

·         Walkers are also expected to make a personal donation from $40

·         Walkers are expected to set a personal donation (fundraising) target, anything from $40 and upwards
