ComputHer - Leading Through Change
Description
In a landscape where we are often the only woman in the room, it’s easy to feel like you’re navigating the tech world on an island. That’s why we created ComputHer. We want a space that exists specifically for women in technology, digital, and transformation to gather, feel seen, and recognise that we are a powerful collective.
We’re moving away from the usual talk about "tech fatigue" to focus on how we actually lead through change without shrinking. The core of the night is a simple but heavy-hitting question: “What are you choosing for this year?” We’ll be diving into how we stay ambitious without burning out and how to be intentional about what we say no to.
To get the ball rolling, we’ve invited a group of women who have navigated these challenges across different corners of the industry:
Host: Katie Bracewell (ADI)
Transformation: Rasha (University of Otago)
Product & Innovation: Lauren Barnes (Centrapay & Blinkpay)
Scale-Up & Growth: Rachel Owen (Pacific Edge)
Change & Adoption: Lydia Simpson (Engaged Squared)
The Roundtable: Your Voice Matters
We want to be clear: this is not a passive listening event. After the panel, we’re moving straight into structured roundtable conversations. The goal is for everyone in the room to engage, share their own insights, and build genuine connections with peers who understand the unique hurdles of being a woman in tech.
