Developed specifically for HDR students, this is the third in a series of four workshops that will help you understand and navigate the review of existing scholarly literature that forms one of the first stages of research.

Learn to make sense of the research that informs your literature review with this highly practical workshop. You will examine the role, structuring and placement of the literature review in the broader context of your research, and gain a fundamental understanding of the concept matrix to facilitate a systematic approach to organising and conceptualising a literature review.

These materials will help prepare you for the workshop and ensure that you get the most benefit out of it. You'll have access to the whole "The Literature Review" module, but for this workshop you can focus on section 3, “Conceptualising your critique.”
