Concertina Convergence 2023

A convergence of concertina enthusiasts held on the weekend of February 3rd to 5th  2023, to coincide with  World Concertina Day Monday, 6th February (Wheatstone’s birthday). 

This follows on from the excellent weekend held at Yackandandah in 2018 in pre COVID times. Similarly, it is a participatory event with folk coming together to enjoy a program of workshops, sessions, talks and concerts. 

 The event will include a range of formal and informal activities - workshops, concerts, demonstrations, tutoring, as well as socialising. Players of all abilities will find inspiration and a greater appreciation of the concertina in its many forms, anglo, english, and duet.

All attendees will need to purchase a ticket for entry. This is to cover venue hire and incidental expenses such as printing.
