Condenser are Wellington punk rock stalwarts who've been kicking against the pricks since 1980. The trio — James on drums, PJ on bass, and Nigel on guitar — deliver a raw, high-energy sound rooted in the genre's incendiary origins.

But Condenser is more than a band. James, Nigel, and PJ are all veterans of the Wellington scene, having cut their teeth in noted acts including Condemned Sector, Neoteric Tribesmen, The Resurrectionists and Compos Mentis — groups that helped shape the Wellington sound and foster a spirit of rebellion that still resonates today.

Expect a tightly packed set of blistering originals and classic covers, channelling the raw energy of the Buzzcocks, the hooks of the Cure, the dark intensity of Joy Division, the chaos of The Damned, the angular rhythms of The Fall, the art-punk of Wire, and the sheer power of the Sex Pistols.
