Event description

Conducting Sexual Harassment Workplace Investigations

Sydney, In-person

As industry experts in workplace investigations, we have developed this workshop to help navigate the challenges in managing allegations of sexual harassment in the workplace.

This full-day workshop focusses on the complexities and skills required to manage and run a sexual harassment investigation.  The key purpose of the training is to develop the skills and confidence of HR teams, legal and compliance officers and internal investigators who are required to conduct or manage sexual harassment investigations in the workplace.  This workshop will be run by our experienced, legally trained workplace investigators, who have in-depth experience in conducting complex sexual harassment investigations

Participants will work with a facilitator to gain the skills to assess complaints, understand how to draft allegations, gather evidence, and make findings based on investigation outcomes. Participants will also learn how to conduct an investigation in a fair, objective and timely manner, according to trauma-informed principles and practices.

This workshop is suitable for internal investigators and HR practitioners who have some experience in conducting workplace investigations and understand the fundamental principles of workplace investigations.

You’ll receive 12 months access to our Investigations Toolkit of easy to use investigations templates. We continually add to, and update, the templates to keep them line with best practice and legal principles. All templates are designed by Q Workplace Solutions, authors of the leading text: Workplace Investigations: Principles and Practice. 2nd Edition.

“Great to base it around a case study for some context and practical examples. Very experienced and knowledgeable presenters. Right level of information and engagement and the video interview examples were really helpful" - participant from 2024 sexual harassment workshop.
