The Australasian Student Architecture Congress is bringing you Weaving 2026 in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.

2nd December 2026 – Weaving 2026 Tukutuku Day

Weaving 2026 presents Tukutuku Day, a full day of talks from notable architects, designers and theorists.

Weaving is a cross-cultural phenomenon, a practice shared by all peoples. Weaving 2026 recognises and responds to this ancient communal practice and positions it as a framework for a collective and connected architecture discipline.

About the Australasian Student Architecture Congress.

Organised for students, by students the Australasian Student Architecture Congress is a biennial event that has bounced around Australia, Aotearoa and Papua New Guinea since the 1960s. ASAC is a unique non-institutionalised entity that supports students shared experience, learning and exchange in the region of Oceania. Each Congress brings with it a diverse network of past and present practitioners, protagonists and organisers.
