    Event description

To help with our planning, we are seeking expressions of interest on which tours you might choose when the time comes for booking (estimated from February next year). Please note that an expression of interest is not a guarantee of a place on the tour.

For more detail about the current planned itineraries and tour highlights (subject to change), see on our APS website here:

    So the tours are:

    • Lord Howe Island (7 days/6 nights) - limited numbers, max 20 (Now sold out)
    • Pilliga and Warrumbungle National Park (6 days/5 nights) - limited numbers, max 25
    • World Heritage Blue Mountains (5 days/4 nights - Pre-conference only)
    • Sydney and Environs (5 days/4 nights - Post-conference only)
    • South Coast (5 days/4 nights -Pre-conference only)

Depending on interest, some may run both pre and post conference.

All pre-conference tours except Lord Howe, are scheduled to arrive back in Kiama on the Friday night before the conference. Lord Howe participants are due back Saturday 10th.

On Saturday 10th, a complimentary tour of the local area will include a delicious winery lunch followed by an fascinating visit to a local native nursery with the option to buy plants.

On Sunday 11th, from 9.00am to 2.00pm, we are planning an extensive Market Fair with local produce, local arts and crafts, native plant sales and take-away food stalls. This is in collaboration with the highly successful Farmers Market and both local and regional native plant nurseries.

Conference registrations in the Pavilion will open at 4.00pm to be followed at 6.30 by a catered function for delegates.
