Looking to gain confidence with your power tool skills? This is the workshop series for you! Dani Fraley of Suncraft Collective will walk the class through each tool, starting with the absolute basics (what is this? why do we use it?) and help each attendee work their way towards using the tools safely and skillfully with independence.

In this workshop attendees will learn about several different tools and techniques for hanging all sorts of things on all kinds of walls, including (but not limited to):

How houses and walls are framed and how to located a stud
Different types of wall anchors, and how, why, and when they work best
How to properly use drills, drivers, and hammer drills when hanging things on walls
A show and tell of many different types of drill and driver bits and when they are used

The workshop will end with a DIY portion where attendees will have the opportunity to practice locating a stud, using a wall anchor, and drilling into brick and block.
