Conflict is a Crossroads with School for Social Change

There isn’t a person reading this that doesn’t know in their bones, we aren’t living free and we aren’t winning against those who seek to deny our liberation. Maybe a few of you are so worn out by the drama and the defeats, you think you’re better off going it alone.

We could be stronger together, but damned if we don’t get bogged down in disagreement, misunderstandings, and tension. People just don’t show up to our movements having perfectly unlearned their conditioning under Capital, Patriarchy and Empire. We don’t intend to do harm and it’s hard not to get defensive or avoidant when told that we have.

Working together takes skill and because we have a long-term, shared vision for freedom and justice, we need skills to move through conflict in a generative way.

At its heart, this workshop is a practice lab, where we’ll learn those skills through doing. We practice how to repair our inevitable ruptures while we stay in relationship.

We practice, reflect and therefore learn from a four-step process with risk aware, real-world examples that install the skills and knowledge to support us irl. Book your spot today to benefit from specialist knowledge and enjoy interactive, facilitated group discussions, somatic and creative practices and pair work.
