The Brief

Why do people get angry—and what can we do about it? This practical session explores the personal factors behind conflict, the impact we have on how others react, and how to recognise early warning signs. Learn simple, effective de-escalation techniques to reduce risk in challenging situations. We’ll also touch on the law around self-defence and trespass, with space for group discussion on what this means in real-life community settings. Ideal for anyone working with the public or in community-facing roles.
