💠“Early Intervention Focus on Occupational Therapy & Play”.
Hear from our expert OT presenter on why this therapy is useful and beneficial and learn practical tips to use at home every day. A family event for babies and their siblings to explore through fun activities, and an opportunity for parents/carers to connect with other families.
Presenter: Hannah Edwards graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) in 2001. Since then, she has worked across a number of paediatric settings, including private practice, community health centres, and schools, supporting children of all ages. Hannah joined the team at The Gabrielle Centre for Children in 2012 and has since enjoyed working within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
At our event, Hannah will focus her presentation on all the ways engaging babies in occupational therapy can benefit their early development and beyond, and how parents can incorporate these strategies in their everyday setting at home.
