Congressional Cup Party
Description
The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia invites members, friends and supporters to join us in celebrating a landmark moment for Australian sailing.
Cole Tapper, George Richardson, Jack Frewin, Max Brennan, Hamish Vass and Nathan Gulliksen — competing as Kairos Racing — have won the 2026 Long Beach Yacht Club Congressional Cup, becoming only the second Australian crew to claim the trophy in the event's 61-year history and the first to do so in 38 years.
Come down to the Lower Deck to celebrate with the team, their families and the wider sailing community. Live music on the night will set the tone for a proper celebration.
When: Friday 15 May 2026, 1800 – 2030hrs
Where: Lower Deck, CYCA
