Join us on Thursday 18 April for a special DTC Networking Event where attendees will learn about the research being undertaken by the Australian Research Centre for Interactive and Virtual Environment and how the outcomes of this research is addressing the capability gaps of Australia’s defence sector.
Proudly sponsored by the University of South Australia this event will be held at Mawson Lakes on the UniSA Mawson Lakes Campus and will feature Mark Billinghurst, Director, Australian Research Centre for Interactive and Virtual Environments as the key speaker for the event.
Also joining Mark is Darryn Smart, Research Leader Intelligent Weapons Systems, Defence Science and Technology Group who will give a brief overview of how DSTG, industry & UniSA are working together to ensure Australia maintains a tactical advantage.
Attendees will get the opportunity to have a hands-on experience trying many AR/VR interactive demonstrations from IVE showcasing how the technology can be used for training, visualization, collaboration and other applications.
This one-off event will provide plenty of networking opportunities and DTC members will receive a guest list the day prior to the event to assist with your business development.
Before the DTC Networking Event Darryn will be speaking at the ‘Enhancing Australia's Defence Capabilities through Industry-Academia Collaboration’ seminar UniSA. DTC Members are invited to attend this seminar at no charge and can register for the seminar here.
Drinks and nibbles will be supplied.
