Connect@DTC - 18 November
Event description
Connect@DTC - 18 November
The Defence Teaming Centre is proud to offer an exclusive opportunity for South Australian businesses that wish to pursue opportunities to enter the US submarine supply chain to meet key representatives of the Hampton Roads Alliance (the Alliance).
The Alliance is the leading regional economic development organisation for the Hampton Roads region of Virginia and comprises one of the largest concentrations of military assets in the world. It is heavily invested in developing the workforce, skills and training around the production of Virginia Class Submarines. Aligned with AUKUS, the Alliance is already collaborating with education and training organisations in WA and is strategically positioned to provide a “soft landing” for Australian companies in the US, following a very successful visit to Virginia by the SA Government earlier this year.
We will be joined by Doug Smith, President and CEO of the Hampton Roads Alliance and Jared Chalk, Chief Business Development Officer, of the Hampton Roads Alliance.
This is an unmissable event for local businesses interested in supporting AUKUS.
