Step into an inspiring evening of creativity, connection and behind-the-scenes insights at our exclusive Late at the Gallery program. Join fellow artists and creators for an intimate gathering where past Daily Creative Challenge winners and participants share their journeys, reveal their creative secrets, and offer insider perspectives on what makes the challenge so transformative.
Have exclusive after dark access to our 3 current exhibitions, Precarious Proximity by Robyn Campbell, Dr Julie Bartholomew and Jo Victoria which explores the dynamic relationship between glass and porcelain, UNRESOLVED watching…waiting… presents a new collaboration between Maggie Douglas (Kabi Kabi), Nicola Ingram (Palawa/Wiradjuri) and Shanysa McConville (Eastern Arrernte) reimagining ideas of trust and allyship and Honouring Country, bringing together seven First Nations artists who participated in silversmithing workshops with renowned Biripi jeweller Wayne Simon to create wearable artworks inspired by Country.
Whether you're a seasoned challenge veteran or curious newcomer, you'll leave with fresh motivation and practical insights to fuel your own creative practice.
What to Expect:
Connect and Create: Mingle with fellow artists and Daily Creative Challenge enthusiasts in a welcoming gallery setting
Nourish and Listen: Enjoy refreshments while soaking in curated background music
Learn and Be Inspired: 30-minute artist talk featuring past winners and participants sharing their real experiences, breakthrough moments, and creative strategies
Discover and Engage: Interactive Question and Answer session where you can ask burning questions about the challenge experience
Exclusive Preview: Attendees will receive early access to the first word on the night. Giving you a head start and unlocking the first Challenge word before the competition begins!

This workshop is hosted at Craft + Design Canberra. Please note there are stairs and a lift from the foyer to come up to the space.

15 days prior: Customers are entitled to a full refund on request.
Less than 14 days: Customers are not entitled to a refund. Customers are entitled to a ticket transfer to a friend or family member.
