This workshop is part of the City of Sydney's Connect Sydney initiative, which offers free skills and capacity building opportunities for community, not-for-profit, charitable and other social purpose organisations that operate in or service the City of Sydney’s local government area. It provides an opportunity for a wide variety of organisations to network and share their experiences.

Connect Sydney training workshops cover a range of topics, including those related to governance.

The workshop will introduce participants to basic governance principles and practice. It is designed specifically for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in the City of Sydney local area who are interested in enhancing the effectiveness of their organisations.
