Collaborative Partnerships and Community Development Training

Connect Sydney is a City of Sydney program, funded by the Department of Communities and Justice. The program aims to build the capacity of community and not-for-profit organisations through the provision of free skills and governance training.Â
This training is for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area. Â
This interactive training session will help develop and strengthen your capacity to lead collaborative partnerships with other Agencies as well as manage partnership dynamics and challenges.Â
You will specifically learn:Â
- The different types of collaborationÂ
- Establishing and maintaining partnershipsÂ
- Getting it right from the beginningÂ
- Establishing a partnership teamÂ
- Good partnership managementÂ
- Responding to Partnership ChallengesÂ
- Review and Evaluating partnershipsÂ
- Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)Â
The training will be delivered at Darling Square Library on Monday, 31 May 2021 from 10.30am – 5pm. Due to limited spaces please nominate 1 – 2 staff from your organisation to register for this workshop. Â
This training is for organisations operating in and/or providing services to City of Sydney residents.Â
The training will be delivered online by ACWA.Â
