This is the first 'Connected in Motherhood' gathering, so if it resonates with you, please come along, spread the word, come alone or bring a friend.

Your facilitator: Mairéad Dunne is a home hospice nurse from Ireland who also works as a holistic success coach for women. After becoming a mom 18 months ago, she studied matrescence and womanhood and now wants to hold space for mums who are ‘in it’ too.

FAQ:

I am nervous to attend alone. Do you think there will be others attending alone? Absolutely. You are who this event is made for. Mairead will greet everyone as they arrive, and you will feel you are among friends before the gathering is over.

I am pregnant and really want to prepare myself for motherhood. Do you think it would be worthwhile for me to attend? Yes! A big part of Mairead's drive is to support women through the transition into motherhood. This is the kind of event that she wishes she went to in the months leading up to giving birth.

Can I bring my baby? A gathering of mothers isn't possible without the flexibility of babies being able to come, so yes, babies on laps (usually under 7 months) are welcome. For babies on the move, this wouldn't be an ideal space for them, and it also may be a little too disruptive for the intention of the gathering. If you do intend to bring your baby along, please let me know in advance via email - mairead@spritzmindset.com.

You mentioned exploring topics of motherhood. Can you give us an example of what these topics are? I do not want parenting advice! How you mother or parent your child or children is 100% not a focus of this gathering. The topics will vary from gathering to gathering but mainly focus around the massive identity and life-changing effects that motherhood has on a woman's life. Topics such as:

What do I need to bring? You will get an email when you book your ticket with this information, but ideally, you want to bring what you will need in order to be super comfortable and as relaxed as possible. Some suggestions are:

A blanket or yoga mat to sit on
A cushion or pillow
Wear comfortable clothes - cosy socks ;)
A journal and pen
Your favourite cup or keep cup

I run a business that provides a service to mothers. Is this a good event to come along to market my business? No. These events are for those who genuinely want to connect with other mothers and take some time out for themselves.
