Rural Professionals – Come and learn more about ConnectHER

Do you work with rural women and whānau across Southland? You may come across people who need support but aren’t quite sure where to turn.

ConnectHER is a Rural Women New Zealand initiative, it is a free outreach and navigation service helping rural women find and access the support they need – from health and wellbeing services to financial, housing, family and social support.

The ConnectHER service is now operating in Southland, with local ConnectHER Victoria Pemberton working alongside rural communities and building connections with organisations and services across the region. (Rural Women New Zealand)

We’re inviting Southland Rural Professionals to come along to one of two presentations to learn more about the programme, what ConnectHER does, who it can support and how you can connect rural women with the service when they need it.

As a free service supporting rural women and whānau, ConnectHER relies on investment from businesses, organisations and community stakeholders who recognise the value of strong, connected rural communities.

Join us to hear about the programme's impact, meet Rural Women New Zealand Chief Executive Sandra Kirby and local ConnectHER Victoria Pemberton, and learn how your organisation can play a part in securing the future of this important service.
