Description

This free Mental Health Month & BPD Awareness Week workshop by e2 Services is for people whose family or loved ones experience BPD and/or other mental ill health & distress.

The themes this year are Find Your Way to Wellbeing & Connection Changes Outcomes. This workshop celebrates these themes by discussing barriers to self care, the role of diagnostic criteria, how to understand emotional regulation, and the importance of connection in caring for others and ourselves.

Connecting with Clients is created by a Lived Experience Educator who has developed & facilitated workshops for 6+ years for community members, carers, mental health clinicians and disability support workers. Emma is a qualified Peer Worker who provides Psychosocial Recovery Coaching and peer supervision in addition to her many lived experience roles.

Information will include some of the neurobiology of mental illness, the diagnostic criteria of Borderline Personality Disorder, patterns of emotional regulation and the importance of prioritising self care when caring for others.
