CONNECTING FAMILY THROUGH THEATRE 

             is a school holiday program to bring parents & caregivers, and kids together, in a safe and fun environment. It has been developed to introduce the beneficial aspects of Theatre for us as individuals, having a good holiday time with the ones we love. 

Through Theatre games and exercises, we are able to unblock creativity with the transformational power of joy, also having the chance to see the world from another's perspective. Everything with heaps of fun!

FACILITATOR:
Silvia Andrade is a Theatre and Improvisation teacher and director with almost 20 years experience teaching and a vast research in Performing Arts. Post Graduated in Performance Arts and Graduated in Theatre at the National University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, she has studied Theatre, Dance, Dance-Theatre, Performance Art and the universe of the Clown with teachers and masters from several countries, developing a wide experience with the most variety types of Performing Arts and techniques. Passionate about the potency of Theatre as a social equality and diversity mechanism, she has taught people from all ages in Brazil and Australia, and created Emanarse Theatre to develop, collectively, creative paths to unravel and universalise individual processes through the body and movement.
