Connecting for Change Conference
Description
Increasing need in our communities has put the community sector under pressure. Connecting for Change is a two-day conference, run by Community Networks Aotearoa and the New Zealand Council of Christian Social Services, bringing together community organisations working in the Social Sector as well as other affiliated groups and government representatives. This conference is a timely opportunity to work together to make real progress.
The objective of the conference is to connect with our members and other organisations working in the social sector and share solutions, experiences and innovations. Connecting for Change will provide a collaborative space where those doing the mahi on the frontlines and those working on big-picture policies can kōrero about how to create an equitable and compassionate Aotearoa New Zealand.
The programme aims to brings real stories and solutions to those able to implement change, and to find the common ground we all tread together.

Day One: Network & Nibbles: 5:00pm - 6:30pm Tuesday 28th July. *Included in all full conference tickets. A standalone Network & Nibbles ticket is available for $35, including nibbles and one complimentary drink.

Purchasing on Behalf of Others: If you are purchasing multiple tickets on behalf of others, you will need to distribute the tickets and any relevant event information to each attendee.
How to email tickets to attendees:
In your confirmation email, click Manage Order under the QR code. This will open a webpage showing your tickets.
On the right-hand side, click “Email tickets to attendees.”
Invoicing: If you prefer to pay via bank transfer, please select the "Invoice me" ticket option to request an invoice. Once you receive the invoice, follow the instructions provided to complete your payment. Please ensure the reference number is included on your invoice.

Community Networks Aotearoa (CNA) is the ‘Network of Networks’, representing thousands of national, regional and local Not-for-Profit organisations across the motu, and providing resources and information to members and government.
The New Zealand Council of Christian Social Services (NZCCSS) represents six Christian networks made up of more than 100 organisations delivering community, health and social services throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, united in their mission to call forth a just and compassionate Aotearoa.

MC: As Wellington City Missioner, Murray brings deep experience across community and government, and a long standing commitment to supporting children and families across Aotearoa. As MC, he’ll help shape and guide the kōrero across both days of the conference.
Hon. Louise Upston
Opening Address: Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector, Social Development and Employment, Disability Issues, and Child Poverty Reduction. Louise has served as the MP for Taupō since 2008, bringing extensive experience across Government including ministerial roles in Corrections, Education, Women, and Tertiary Education. Prior to entering Parliament, Louise worked as a self-employed project management consultant and held directorships across property, tourism, and consulting. She holds an MBA from Waikato University and lives in Karāpiro with her husband and children.
