Connecting Industry Events: Aeris Resources (Gladstone)
Event description
Aeris Resources is an established Australian copper and gold producer
delivering into its growth strategy to become a diversified, mid-tier
mining company. With forecast production in 2021 of ~24,000 tonnes of
copper at its Tritton Copper Operations in New South Wales, and ~70,000
ounces of gold at its Cracow Gold Operations in Central Queensland both
delivering strong cashflow.
On 1 July 2020, Aeris acquired the Cracow Gold Operations in Central Queensland. Cracow has been operating continuously since 2004, producing more than 1.4 million ounces of gold to-date, with a consistent record of resource replacement. Aeris has committed to spending some $13 million over the next two years on a known pipeline of highly prospective, near-mine brownfield and greenfield exploration targets at Cracow – to prove additional reserves and extend the mine life. The Company has an exceptional pipeline of advanced exploration targets presenting a near-term opportunity to materially increase the life of mine at Cracow, as well as a portfolio of development-ready projects.
On March 25 at the Yaralla Sports Club in Gladstone, Executive Chairman of
Aeris Resources, Andre Labuschagne, will introduce the company to Gladstone industry and the supply chain by reviewing the history of Aeris leading up to
the purchase of the Cracow Gold Operations in June, 2020. Andre will be
discussing the company’s overall strategy and plans to deliver into
that strategy through growing production from the Cracow Gold Operations, through growing the company
through exploration and through continuing to look for other acquisition
targets which are a good fit for Aeris.
