Connected Minds - Intergenerational trauma and healing
Event description
Working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and supporting intergenerational healing.
This workshop will support you to develop your understanding of intergenerational trauma as experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander young people. We will work to strengthen your capacity to understand mental health issues and mental health support through a culturally appropriate lens and challenge you and your team to consider how you can work with key stakeholders within your workplace to better support the Social and Emotional Wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and their families.
The content is transferrable to your work across all tiers and applicable to other individuals and communities who have experienced trauma.
This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in MWHL specific professional learning and connect with your colleagues face to face!
