In this workshop, participants will learn the ancient Aboriginal women’s art of weaving, a practice that dates back thousands of years, using ethically sourced materials to create beautiful, handwoven baskets. This Weave & Yarn workshop offers a safe and supportive environment to engage with cultural teachings, ask questions, and reflect on the connection between creativity and mindfulness. Whether you are a therapeutic arts practitioner, an allied health professional, or someone committed to listening to Indigenous knowledge, this experience will invite you to explore new perspectives and nurture meaningful connections.
