Connection Through Dance Workshop

Nicho, originally from Chile, began dancing at the age of 5, and his passion for Latin dance ignited at 15. As a part of Santiago's renowned Salsa crew, "Latido en Clave," he began teaching Salsa before settling in Queenstown, New Zealand, in 2016, where he introduced Cuban-style Salsa Rueda de Casino to the community. Gina joined Nicho's classes, fell in love with the culture, and started teaching Salsa in Cromwell within a year. In 2020, the Cromwell and Queenstown classes merged under the name Latin Soul Dance, and since then, Nicho and Gina have been teaching together, refining their classes, and performing as a couple and in teams at various events while sharing their passion for Latin dancing.

Latin Soul Dance offers regular classes at Te Atamira in Salsa, Bachata, Zouk and Kizomba for all-level dancers if you're interested in joining.
