Connee-Colleen: Queanbeyan Character. Artist, artivist, agitator, archivist
Event description
Artist, activist, agitator, archivist
This unique art-meets-history exhibition at The Queanbeyan Hive celebrates the remarkable life and works of living local legend Connee-Colleen Cameron and includes her sculptures, sketches, and other artefacts celebrating her creative Queanbeyan community spirit.
The two-week public show is a collaboration between Create Collaborate Collective Inc, Jerrabomberra Rotary and The Queanbeyan Hive. It has come about with the complete support and agreement and cooperation of Connee’s family, who have generously allowed her works and notes to be seen and her story told.
This is a free exhibition but please book your free ticket to ensure that you do not miss out and so that we can also manage numbers in our 'boutique' gallery.
