Connor Perkins is a bassist and bandleader whose passion for musical expression drives every decision on and off the bandstand. As an in-demand bassist and recent graduate from Brisbane’s Jazz Music Institute, Connor has had the opportunity to perform and collaborate with some of the country's leading jazz musicians, including Phil Treloar, Zac Hurren, Steve Newcomb and Graeme Norris. Connor is known for his distinct rhythmic and lyrical approach, with a deep understanding and reverence for all facets of music.

Featuring some of Brisbane’s most renowned players, The Connor Perkins Quartet presents a mix or originals and tunes by some of Black American Music's most iconic composers.
