Conscious Clubbing Presents - The Devotion.

The Devotion ~ love, loyalty, or enthusiasm for a person or activity.

🔊❤️🔊❤️🔊❤️🔊❤️🔊❤️🔊❤️🔊❤️🔊❤️

Devotion is the most beautiful and precious expression of our love for someone or something. Devotion is boundless, it resides within the connection of our infinite being, our soul’s expression in the most beautiful way we know how.

> What am I devoted to?

> What are you devoted to?

> How can I/you/we bring and give permission for the beauty of what inspires us, into the light of day?

Devotion can be many things, from the seemingly mundane to the grandiose. All are founded in the essence of humility and that’s what makes devotion such a sweet experience.

Our invitation is for you consider your devotion, open your heart and whatever sits between you and your precious expression and journey through it, together.

What is ‘Conscious Clubbing?’

Conscious Clubbing is a movement that was created in early 2019 by Mark Pringle aka DJ Sankhara, as a way to bring people together for epic, transformational conscious dance parties that don’t revolve around drinking and drugs.

Based on the incredible experiences Sankhara has had with dance and movement over the years, coupled with his passion for a wide variety of electronic music, he wanted to create a regular event where people could come together and have their own ecstatic experiences through dance, movement and expression.

"The vision was to create a regular dance event where I take us all on a journey with different types of electronic music, with a heavy focus on tribal and world music. It’s an event to come dance, play, connect, sweat, sing, laugh, cry, scream and just have some darn tootin’ good fun!"

Towards the end of 2019, visual artist and VJ Anthos Sotnya joined the Conscious Clubbing movement. Anthos quickly became an integral part of the evolution of Conscious Clubbing, his live visuals adding another layer that only deepened the experience and thus cementing a potent partnership between himself and Mark.

>>> The vision for Conscious Clubbing in 2020 is clear <<<

- To raise the consciousness of humanity, with intention, through music, dance, movement, embodied experiences and visual alchemy and to facilitate peoples expansion, encourage authentic self-expression and to positively impact their lives.

>> About the artists <<

DJ SANKHARA

Saṅkhāra is an ancient Buddhist term meaning formation, fabrication, the process of fashioning and the fashioned things that result. It is a term that could be used to describe the way the man himself works a crowd, ‘fashioning’ the atmosphere on dance floors into an irresistible and energetic experience, full of - but by no means limited to - alluring mid tempo, bass heavy, funk-induced, melodic pieces.

Sankhara’s sets consist of an infusion of many different genres and styles, focusing heavily on Tribal and World beats. His intention is not just to get you tapping your feet and nodding your head, but to have you dancing until your feet fall off and you’re no longer able to stand!

Sankhara is a NZ born Gold Coast based DJ who has played in various clubs, competitions, parties, weddings and conscious dance events in NZ and Australia over the past decade. He obtained a Diploma in Audio Engineering in 05/06 and has been playing guitar for over 20 years. He is also passionate about men's work and runs and facilitates mens workshops and is also a Spiral Practitioner.

VJ_ANTHOS

Anthos is a ceremony facilitator, mentor, visual alchemist (visual jockey aka VJ) and visionary artist. His favoured skill is creating and holding a deep presence for participants to drop into and connect with themselves on a soul level. Be it a guided meditation, cacao ceremony or embodiment workshop via The Ecstatic Current or sweating it out on the dance floor.

His VJ performances guide people into a visual wonderland to explore and journey into a world filled with colour, symbology, mixed with dance to activate a sense of celebration of this beautiful experience of life.

Life is a Ceremony and the more we open to and embody that experience our creative inspiration flows and we can connect to our deeper knowing and from there make healthy choices for ourselves and our world.

Anthos’s visionary art is inspired by his work with sacred plant medicines, a journey that began over a decade ago in the Ecuadorian ranges. His art is sacred geometry guided by the Fibonacci Code, his unique symbology (sometimes referred to as ‘light language). Prints, acrylics and beautiful tapestries are available for purchase on his website.
