Join me for my Conscious Connection Women's WINTER Circle 1/2 Day Retreat.

I am excited to be coming back to Maitland to host this event and have some beautiful processes and information to share with you all as we step into the new season on Winter.

Winter, in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is associated with the Kidneys which hold our body’s most basic and fundamental energy. It is such an important time for rest, rejuvenation and going deeper into ourselves as we step into hibernation to provide the optimum conditions for our bodies to restore in preparation for Spring. Our focus during this time is around enriching yin and subduing yang, as we relax our minds, calm our emotions and raise our spirit so we can continue to provide our bodies with the best conditions to live in harmony.

We will be doing some gentle movement, meditating, creating, processing and reflecting as we come together to connect with ourselves through stillness, allowing our minds to take a break in a non-judgemental space of love.

I am excited to announce that Kylie, a Nature Based Therapist from Seed to Summit will also be joining us for part of the day to share a beautiful nature therapy process. Her passion is helping people to cultivate deep connections with themselves, empowering growth through the continual discovery of the healing power nature has to offer.

I will be sharing with you how to best step into this season and stay healthy and balanced, as we look at what foods we should be including in our diets at this time.

We will also be doing some activities to activate and balance different meridians and acc-upoints on our water energy lines - Kidney and Bladder, as winter is the season these two come alive.

The emotion that reflects an imbalance in the Kidney meridian system is fear (which can develop into anxiety), lack of willpower, insecurity or isolation. When this emotion is more balanced it shows up as will power, a sense of awe and flow with life. When these two energy lines are out of balance, these emotions can show up stronger.

I hope you can join us for a beautiful afternoon together as you gift yourself this precious time and space for stillness and connection.

Afternoon tea will be provided, along with herbal teas.

Please bring water, yoga mat, blanket and pillow, pen and journal and an item that has special meaning to you that you would like to place on our centrepiece.
