Conscious Sexuality & Connection - Full-Day Workshop + Optional Evening Temple
Description
Saturday 5 December 2026
11:30 am–10:00 pm
The Breath Bar, Geelong
What changes when you stop performing, slow down and listen more closely to what you actually want?
Conscious Sexuality & Connection is a full-day experiential workshop exploring desire, boundaries, consent, communication and embodied connection, followed by an optional evening temple for those who want to continue into a more sensual, sexually open space.
Across the day, you will explore how desire and boundaries feel in your body, practise communicating your choices and connect with others without overriding yourself or slipping into familiar roles.
The evening temple offers an optional space to follow that curiosity further through sensation, touch, play, and authentic encounters - all within clear agreements and active facilitation.
Attend solo, with friends or with a partner or partners. No previous experience is required for the daytime workshop.
The Day Workshop
11:30 am–6:00 pm
The daytime workshop is a guided exploration of conscious sexuality and connection.
It is not about becoming more sexual, confident or adventurous. It is about developing a more honest relationship with what you want, what you do not want and how you meet another person without performing or abandoning your boundaries.
Drawing on somatic sexology, sex education, Tantra and Neo-Tantra, Velvet will guide a mix of individual, paired and small-group practices exploring:
Desire and personal choice
Embodied yes, no, maybe and not yet
Boundaries and ongoing consent
Asking for what you want
Responding to another person’s yes or no
Giving without expectation
Receiving without obligation
Attraction, uncertainty and changing preferences
Communication during touch and intimacy
Connection with yourself and others
The workshop begins with clear agreements and a shared consent framework. From there, the practices gradually move into more nuanced exploration of desire, choice and connection.
Everything will be explained before it begins. Every exercise is optional.
New to this work or returning?
No previous workshop is required.
The day is designed for both first-time participants and people who have attended Desire, Boundaries & Connection: An Introduction Workshop, who can elect to join in later (2:30 pm) if they do not want to repeat the content taught in the introduction workshop.
We will begin with the core agreements and consent training so that everyone enters the workshop and temple with a shared understanding. We will then move into deeper practices exploring negotiation, attraction, giving, receiving and changing desire.
What will the practices involve?
The day includes guided body-awareness exercises, communication practices, individual reflection, paired work, optional touch and time for group discussion and integration.
Some practices may involve:
Eye contact
Conversation
Movement
Physical proximity
Negotiated touch
Working with different people in the room
The daytime workshop is primarily clothed. You may be invited to remove an outer layer during some practices, but this is always optional. Genitals remain covered, and there is no sexual activity during the workshop.
Attending solo or with others
You are welcome to attend alone, with friends or with a partner or partners. No pre-arranged partner is needed.
For many practices, Velvet will guide the group through a simple process of moving around the room and meeting the person in front of you. There is no need to find or secure someone to work with.
When attending with a partner, you can choose to stay together or work with other participants. You may also adapt a practice, observe or sit it out.
Who is the workshop for?
The workshop welcomes adults of all genders, bodies, sexual orientations, consensual relationship styles and levels of experience.
It may appeal to you if you want to:
Feel more connected to your body and desire
Become clearer about your boundaries
Ask for what you want more confidently
Notice when a yes is actually a maybe or no
Explore giving and receiving more intentionally
Move beyond familiar scripts around intimacy
Learn through practical experience rather than discussion alone
Prepare for the evening temple or future Love & Play temples
Come as you are, with curiosity and respect for your own choices and those of others.
Dinner Break
6:00–7:00 pm
There will be a one-hour break between the workshop and temple.
Bring your own dinner or purchase food from nearby cafés and takeaway venues. Tea, water and light snacks will be available, but the event is not fully catered.
You are welcome to leave after the workshop if you are not attending the temple.
Optional Evening Temple
Embodied Sovereignty
7:00–10:00 pm
The evening temple is a clothing-optional space for exploring sensation, desire, connection and consensual play.
The theme is embodied sovereignty: remembering that your body, choices and desires belong to you while meeting everyone else as someone with the same autonomy.
Consent is foundational, but this practice goes beyond asking the right question and receiving permission. It is about recognising another person as a whole human being rather than a body to be accessed.
Their yes is specific, not open-ended. Their no is not a personal rejection. Both communicate what is true for them in that moment.
The invitation is to explore desire without entitlement, pleasure without performance and connection without abandoning yourself.
What to expect
The temple begins with guided practices to help everyone arrive, reconnect with the shared agreements and ease into the space.
These may explore:
Curiosity and attraction
Asking, offering and responding
Sensation and body awareness
Giving and receiving
Expressing desire without pressure
Receiving a no without personalising it
Following a yes while remaining attentive
There may also be sensory experiences involving feathers, eye masks, sound, whispers, taste, texture, movement, stillness and gentle touch.
After the guided opening, the temple moves into a more open, free-flowing format. You may explore different stations, connect with others, stay with someone you arrived with, observe, rest or spend time quietly on your own.
There is no required outcome and no expectation that your evening will become sexual.
What may happen?
The temple is more intimate and sexually open than the daytime workshop.
Depending on the choices and boundaries of the people involved, the evening may include:
Conversation and eye contact
Sensual touch
Massage
Kissing
Nudity
Erotic touch
Consensual sexual activity
Some people may explore sexually. Others may remain fully clothed, talk, enjoy sensory play, receive gentle touch, observe or rest.
All of these are valid ways to participate. Being in a sexually open environment does not mean you are expected to undress, be touched or connect sexually with anyone.
Desire without entitlement
You may feel drawn to someone who does not want to connect with you. Someone may also approach you when you are not interested.
Both are a normal part of a space built around genuine choice.
Attraction does not create an obligation. No one owes anyone their attention, touch or participation.
A no is not a failure or insult. It communicates what feels right for that person in that moment and helps make a genuine yes possible.
Participants are expected to ask clearly, listen to the response and respect another person’s choice without pressure, persuasion or repeated asking.
Temple eligibility and future access
The evening temple is open to:
Participants who complete the full daytime workshop
People who have completed Desire, Boundaries & Connection: An Introduction Workshop
People who have previously completed Velvet’s consent training
These workshops establish the consent framework, communication practices and temple etiquette used within Love & Play temple events.
Once you have completed an eligible workshop, you can book future Love & Play temple-only tickets, where offered, without repeating the foundation training.
Meet your facilitator
Velvet Lilith

Velvet Lilith is a Somatic Sexologist, sex coach and sex educator.
Her work supports people to move away from performing sexuality and develop a more honest relationship with their bodies, desires, boundaries and choices.
Velvet draws on somatic sexology, sex-positive education, nervous-system awareness, Tantra and Neo-Tantra. Her approach is body-based and experiential, grounded in the belief that pleasure, desire and communication are skills that can be explored and developed.
Rather than prescribing what sexuality should look like, she creates space for people to question inherited scripts and discover what connection and pleasure feel like when they are genuinely their own.
