About this Event
An evening on the future of tech-enabled social impact
We are witnessing a seismic and transformational shift in the role of business, technology and finance as catalysts for social and environmental impact.
Case in point, in September 2019, over 2000 businesses and corporations signed up for the School Climate Strike, signalling a crucial shift in the public role of business. Around the world the Impact Investing sector has grown to $500+ Billion.
As the scale of the social and environmental challenges we face continues to grow, new, innovative approaches are needed to enable impact at scale and to channel the ever-increasing amounts of capital that is available for impact projects.
A unique collaboration between WWF-Australia and ConsenSys
Join us to unpack how we are shifting the innovation, collaboration, impact investment and financing landscape to achieve more targeted and meaningful impact towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
Impactio is the first blockchain-enabled collaborative governance platform specifically designed to curate and fund social and environmental impact projects at scale.
A global public pilot has been completed and the team from Impactio will be sharing the results and learnings for the first time with the Australian innovation, corporate and social impact ecosystem in Sydney.
See a demo of the platform, followed by an intimate fireside chat between key project participants from ConsenSys, WWF-Ausrtralia and NAB, and lastly hear how you can be involved in exciting upcoming impact initiatives.
This event is ideal for anyone from the social impact, tech, design or for-purpose sector that is keen to understand how the technology and impact sectors are collaborating today, in real-time towards achieving deeper impact.
