Consultation - Foundations Skills for Women’s Health and Wellbeing Work - Program Development (Women's Health and Wellbeing Sector) - September 2024
Event description
This consultation aims to gather ideas and experiences from professionals working directly in the Women’s Health and Wellbeing sector to help shape the development of a Foundation Skills for Women’s Health and Wellbeing work training program.
The Women’s Health and Wellbeing, Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Violence sector has expressed a need for professional development for new workers starting in the Women’s Health and Wellbeing sector, or for others interested in this work. The training will be developed in consultation with the Women’s Health and Wellbeing sector to ensure that it meets their needs.
WorkUP Queensland has engaged Children by Choice to consult with the sector about what is needed, what content should be included and how it should be delivered. Following consultations, Children by Choice will design, develop and deliver a program for testing and implementation with the sector.
We invite you to have a say and help us to shape this program to ensure it meets the sectors’ needs.
Topics to be explored throughout the consultations include:
