Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) is an exploration of movement, trust, and creativity, designed to help you connect more deeply with yourself, others, and the natural world through conscious movement practices.

The theme of this workshop is 'Move Through the Shadows'
Over the last months of exploration I have moved through many processes of my own and with these embodied practices I want to bring some of these elements to my workshop. We will still be dancing and discovering flow and embodiment through connection, but I will be bringing an element our shadows and drawing light onto what we might be hiding from.

CBC blends contact improvisation, mindfulness, and partner work to cultivate presence, spontaneity, and fluidity. You’ll move through guided practices that draw on how we relate and what we hide from.

What You’ll Experience:

Guided practices that invite you to safely explore the hidden or unacknowledged parts of yourself through movement, breath, and connection.
Somatic tools to recognise, express, and integrate aspects of your shadow in a supportive and non-judgmental space.
Partner and group exercises that reflect back different sides of yourself, helping you meet both your light and shadow with compassion.
Opportunities to play with resistance, boundaries, and vulnerability in movement, transforming them into pathways for deeper self-awareness.
A chance to step out of your thinking mind and into your body.
Moments of stillness and integration where insights can settle, leaving you with a deeper sense of wholeness and connection to self and others.

Whether you're a dancer, a mover, or simply curious, this workshop is open to all levels. No prior experience or partner is needed, just a willingness to explore and dance.
