Miriam is a dance and movement facilitator, somatic therapy practitioner and bodyworker based in Ōtepoti/Dunedin who has dedicated much of her life researching about embodied practices.

Miriam is curious about how dance and movement can offer insights into who we are as human beings, individually and collectively. She has recently begun working with ACC Sensitive Claims clients in support of rebuilding an embodied sense of trust, joy & connection through creativity & nervous system work.

She holds a Masters in Dance Studies and has experience teaching children, parents, the elderly, high-school students, and university students. She regularly offers workshops at the Conscious Dance Aotearoa Festival (Nelson region), Circulation Festival (Dunedin) and other events around the country, often in collaboration with other space-holders.
