CDS Vic School Champions Program Ideas Exchange (Primary Schools - Term 2, 2025)

Primary schools from across the state are invited to join us for our free CDS Vic School Champions Program Ideas Exchange!


Inspire your students to take action for the environment while raising funds to support their sustainability dreams at this free event. Facilitated by CERES' sustainability education experts and hosted at our beautiful environment park, this hands-on event will bring young leaders together and empower them to take recycling through CDS Vic to the next level to enact meaningful change at their school. With multiple schools in attendance, students have a rare opportunity to connect, collaborate, and be inspired by their peers from a diverse range of backgrounds who are passionate about making a difference.

Students will:

• Learn how they can boost their CDS Vic fundraising initiatives to take their sustainability goals even further

• Dive into student advocacy and action planning

• Explore CERES' own circular waste system

We invite each school to bring 1-2 teachers and up to 5 students (if you have more in your leadership group let us know). Only one registration is required per school. Students please BYO nude food, a cafe is also available onsite for teachers.

Please note: to attend this event, your school needs to be registered as a Donation Partner with CDS Vic. Becoming a Donation Partner enables your school to receive donations from the community beyond the school gates. We will talk more about boosting your fundraising efforts at the event, but this will be a helpful first step in that direction.

You can become a Donation Partner here. There are 3 steps to becoming a Donation Partner, after you complete step 1, you will receive your Donation Partner ID. Please bring this to the event on the 12th of June. 

CERES receives funding from Vic Return for schools coming to the conference who are Donation Partners. This funding allows us to host these events and support schools to reach their fundraising goals!
