Conversations on the Lawns is a relaxed, community-driven event created by PEPTALK Collective to bring people together through genuine conversation, connection and support for mental wellbeing.

Set in an open and welcoming outdoor environment, the event creates a space where people from all walks of life can come together, share stories, listen, connect and have conversations that matter.

WHY WE'RE DOING IT

Mental health affects all of us — our families, friends, workplaces and communities.

This event is about helping make conversations around mental health feel more natural and less intimidating. Through connection, storytelling and positive encouragement, we want to help create a community where people feel comfortable talking, listening and supporting one another.

Our focus is on mental health awareness and suicide prevention, while creating an environment that is positive, inclusive and welcoming.

The concept is simple.

Come along. Grab a chair. Have a drink. Meet someone new. Share a story. Listen to someone else's.

You don't need to be an expert in mental health. You don't need to have all the answers.
