Conversations with Cacao: July 2025

You are invited to join us for a heart-warming and thought-provoking evening of Cacao, Community and Connection.

Conversations with Cacao is a light-hearted way to work with the medicine of Cacao and support our innate needs for social interaction and person-to-person connection.

We will gather and learn how to prepare a serve of Cacao at home. This brief educational piece is then followed by a session of The Art of Conversation - a connection game which grants us the opportunity to dive deeper than small-talk would typically allow.

Cacao helps us to drop deeper into our hearts, fostering greater opportunities to connect with self and others. Paired with this conversation game, Conversations with Cacao allows us to ask and answer questions that take us beyond the surface and help us review our rich tapestry of lived experiences with fresh awareness.

In Mayan and Samoan traditions, Cacao has been used as a social lubricant, a ritual element, and a means of deep inner connecting, which empowers communication from the heart. It has been used to help chieftains make decisions for the good of the tribe, rather than any one individual, and to help bring fresh clarity and levity when situations may otherwise become tense.

I offer Conversations with Cacao as a way of honouring these traditions, creating space for people to come together and find community, connection, and share their stories in a small container where each member may truly feel heard and received.

I look forward to welcoming you into this space and witnessing the weaving of our shared narratives into the collective dreaming.

Note: Please eat lightly before the event and bring a drink bottle. Grounding, diet-friendly snacks are also provided to keep us grounded throughout the event.

The street number will be provided to registered attendees on the day of the event. It is a private residence near the train station.
