Conversations with Clifton Trees

Join local artist Janine Bailey for a hands-on EcoArt workshop with the Clifton Trees at Moronga Park, a precious littoral rainforest opposite the Clifton School of Arts. This gentle, creative session introduces basic, primary‑level art skills, making it perfect for beginners or anyone curious about drawing with nature. Together, we’ll explore tree ecology through colour, shape and texture, learn how to identify local species, and create simple, expressive drawings.

You’ll meet new trees and new people, enjoy slow time under the canopy, and finish with a relaxing guided meditation. This workshop blends art with ecology, offering a unique way to deepen your connection to place and community.

Meeting point: Please gather at the Clifton School of Arts to collect materials before we walk across Lawrence Hargrave Drive to Moronga Park.
