The series is designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to build strong partnerships with your child’s daycare. childcare or preschool and advocate effectively to ensure their needs are met through their early education.

Sharlene from ODEEP brings extensive experience as an early childhood educator and teacher, having worked in both long day care and early intervention settings. She has a deep understanding of best practices in Early Childhood Intervention and the support of children and families.

Parent

Natasha is a Mum to three boys, her youngest Miller has multiple disabilities. Throughout Miller’s early years, Natasha explored various early childhood education settings. Her persistence, advocacy and knowledge of Miller and his needs resulted in Miller finding ‘his people’ at preschool in a setting where he could thrive.
