Convulsing (Naarm), Slowcut, Lavender Threat (all-ages)

In one month, Season Three will hold our final three shows, before closing forever. Thank you to everyone who has allowed our space to mean something to them, over the past eighteen months. These last shows are a considered attempt to go out at the very apex of our ambition, and to create memories we hope will endure long after our little space becomes… offices, probably. Here’s some words:

Friday, May 9th: 

Lavender Threat held their first-ever show with us, and they exemplify what I hope Season Three has been able to do. They are a true force. 

Slowcut have practiced here for a long time, and are integrally wound up in the DNA of our project, but have somehow never played S3. I’m glad for a chance to rectify this. 

No idea why I thought I could ask Convulsing to come here and play in the space, let alone why Brendan would ever consider it. One of the most revered, and most exciting, things happening anywhere in the global heavy music world - truly beyond conception, to get to do this.
