Thanks to the support of Aboriginal Family Support Services, the National Indigenous Australians Agency, the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, Peak Iron Mines, Complete Personnel and the Greek Club, the inaugural FREE Coober Pedy Community Science Fair & BBQ will take place at the Greek Club in Saint Nicholas Street on Monday 9th October 2023 from 5.30pm-7.00pm. The Science Collective is pleased to be offering science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session.

Kris from bugs n slugs will have a great display of invertebrates and will give a BUGS SHOW which highlights just how much nature depends on them. SciFiBri will also present his spectacular FIRE & FROTH Show. There will also be an electric circuit challenge, robotics, hands-on science fun with rocket making and launching, pinwheel creations, bridge building, marshmallow and spaghetti tower challenges and of course SLIME!

Thanks to our event sponsors, this event is offered free to the community. But it would be a great help to us if you book your FREE tickets here at www.thesciencecollective.com
