Kids Beach Clean Up

Plastic Free Coogee and Association ELI-S Australia are hosting a fun and educational beach clean-up and environmental awareness fun day for kids! 

Join us on Sunday 4th December at Goldstein Reserve, Coogee for a morning of play, information and care for our land. 

At our stalls you can meet the teams, participate in some fun educational activities, and find out why it is important to keep our oceans plastic free. 

Participate in a beach-clean up and become an ocean ambassador!

Our hands-on activities include:

- Fluke match game: learn how whale scientists identify humpback whales

- Label the whale: learn the different body parts of a whale

- Sea shell experiment: what is ocean acidification?

- Sea monkeys: What are they really?

- Whale talk and activity with whale scientist, Carla

- Transient trash art: Bottle cap mandalas
