COOK BOOK CLUB - MAY - SIMPLE - OTTOLENGHI
Event description
Much like novels and other non-fiction books, cookbooks hold a very special place in the hearts of readers. For many, cookbooks are the first step in learning how to cook for yourself and loved ones. Cookbooks hold your hand as you work your way through a mid-week dinner or slow cooked Sunday lunches. They hold the recipes that are reserved and prepared for special occasions, for when you need to switch off or feel happy or sad. The recipes in cookbooks literally nourish you inside and out. As they equally nourish your body and mind, the nourishment extends to those those around you, bringing together people around a table, away from busy lives and devices into a world of flavour, conversation and connection.Â
Join us at Co.Bake Space to dine on recipes cooked from Yotam Ottolenghi's CULT cook book SIMPLE. Whilst you dine on three courses cooked by us whilst you will also sip and discuss with new friends what you love and what you don't about this book. We will chat about what we've all cooked from the book, did it work? Have you been able to use substitutes etc. Everything is open for discussion at cook book club.Â
